News:

3/08/13

Was my story, The Oracle's Flame, accepted by LT3?  Sort of.  They told me they loved it, but it wasn't quite right for the If You're Reading This Anthology. They still want to publish it, which is awesome and exciting.  I'm looking forward to fleshing the story out a bit more now that it's to be a full ebook!

Melting the Ice Witch is back with my editor.  This is the hardest editing job of all four books because it's the last one and I want to do it right.   I think it will turn out to be excellent!

Have you seen the new cover for Road to Revenge?
Have a look!  Do you see how shiny it is!

I'm writing a lot right now, but not for the projects I need to be working on.  Isn't it funny how that works?  I have an excellent idea for LT3's Vampire Anthology and I haven't even put a single word on a page because I've been working on Paint, Guns, Money, & Love instead.  PGML is an old story I've had kicking around on my computer for years.  I've added a little here and there every so often, but this time when I popped it open a couple thousand words erupted.  If I finish writing it within the next week, yay, but if not it'll have to be forced into hiding for a while longer so I can work on things with a time limit first.

News for the New Year

Here's the great news for the New Year!

  • As of 1/9/13, LT3's Kiss Me at Midnight anthology part 1 is out!!!  Please check out my submission: Hadash Aviv

New beginnings come in many different forms.
Aviv's started with a bomb in Gaza and a friendly
American soldier who turned his life around. But
pomegranate trees only bloom in the spring and
aviv is a long way off. Can a chance meeting at a
new year's party finally bring Aviv's new beginning
into flower?

Stealing from a dragon's hoard is never a bright idea,
but stealing from a baby dragon's hoard can lead to tears,
sniffles, and smoke in the middle of a busy marketplace.

Jerney, a witch who does work for a well-known thieves'
guild, knows exactly who's to blame for the brazen theft.
With no other choice in the matter, he quickly becomes
entangled in trying to help the baby dragon. What he doesn't
expect is that his own heart might get stolen in the process.

  • I also have three more books hanging around LT3's editing boards:  My submission to their Rocking Hard Anthology, My Truest Love.  The fourth, and final, book in the Dragon's Hoard, Melting the Ice Witch is set to arrive in stores 6/4/13.  And, my newest book, Road to Revenge, has been accepted by LT3 as well!  Check out my Coming Soon section on my website for more info!  I'm hoping all three will be out this year.

  • My final piece of news is that I have the cover for the print addition of The Dragon's Hoard.  This paperback book will be all four stories in the Dragon's Hoard series bound together into one delicious volume.  I have no idea when it will be out, only that it will be sometime after Melting the Ice Witch.  Isn't the cover beautiful!!

News

12/8/12
  • Happy Hanukkah!
  • I submitted Road to Revenge and LT3 accepted it!  I don't know yet if it will run as an e-book or a serial, but it'll be awesome.  I'll keep everyone updated on the story's progress!
  • I'm still waiting for round two of edits for Stealing the Dragon, Dragon's Hoard book three.  This is my favorite book in the series, so I'm very excited to finish working on it.
  • Right now I'm trying to decide which story to work on next.  I have a fairytale, another series, or one of LT3's open anthology calls.  I have great ideas for all of them, but I have to settle down with one and I don't know which!  I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually...

News

10/22/12
  • The edits for the Jack-O'-Lantern's Grin are complete!  It's all ready for publishing and will be available in stores in just a few weeks!  Keep an eye out at LT3!
  • I have also finished the first round of edits for Stealing the Dragon, book three of my Dragon's Hoard Series.  The manuscript has gone back to the editor for another round, but so far it's turning out wonderfully.  I think this one might be the best book in the series!  It's also running way ahead of schedule.  I didn't expect to get any edits until December.  I'll keep everyone informed if the release date gets moved up to compensate!
  • I think I've lost a bit of control over Road to Revenge.  It was only supposed to be 35K, but it's heading to 40K and beyond.  I seriously thought I'd be finished writing it by now so I could start editing and preparing for submission to LT3.  Instead I haven't even reached the big action scene at the end.  I've a ways to go still, but my goal is to have it submitted before Thanksgiving.
